The use of digital technologies in healthcare is expanding beyond clinical decision-making. Alongside AI-driven tools that support healthcare professionals, digital applications are increasingly helping people better understand and manage factors that influence their health.
One example emerging from EU-funded research is IMMEDIA, a mobile application developed by Zadig within the EU-funded IMMEDIATE project. The app provides personalised, science-based information on stress, sleep, nutrition and physical activity, while allowing users to track lifestyle habits, stress levels and bowel movements.
By translating research on chronic inflammation, the microbiome and health-to-disease transitions into an accessible digital tool, IMMEDIA brings personalised prevention closer to citizens. It complements decision-support technologies aimed at healthcare professionals by focusing on an earlier stage of the health journey: helping people recognise relevant lifestyle factors and make informed choices.
IMMEDIA is privacy-focused and ad-free. It complies with the EU General data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and is available in multiple languages.
IMMEDIA is now available for download through the official app page.
