The European Commission is organising an online Horizon Europe Info Day on 16 October 2026, dedicated to the new NATURE and BRIDGING calls introduced under the amended Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027.
The event will provide prospective applicants with insights into the policy context, objectives and opportunities of the calls, as well as practical guidance for preparing proposals. It will also be relevant for ongoing Horizon Europe projects interested in understanding the context of the BRIDGING call and the deployment of project results.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- learn about the policy background and objectives of the NATURE and BRIDGING calls;
- receive practical information on the topics open for application through live pitches;
- gain a better understanding of project design, impact and implementation;
- learn more about the application of Financial Support to Third Parties; and
- ask questions during interactive Q&A sessions via Slido.
The NATURE call supports research and innovation contributing to biodiversity and the transition towards a nature-positive economy and society. The new call includes topics covering areas such as nature restoration, biodiversity monitoring, the biodiversity impacts of clean and digital industries, invasive alien species, and the biodiversity-health interface.
Date: 16 October 2026, 09:30 (GMT+02:00)
